If you’re interested in the property posting service, here’s the rest of the details:

There’s no long-term contract. Everything is done in 30 day increments.
 
One property is $49/30 days, and the costs decrease for each additional property submitted at one time to as low as $35/listing/30 days. (see chart below)
 
What you get out of the deal is this -
 * You’ll free up your time for more important tasks, because you don’t need to spend between 10 and 20 minutes per property per day to create and post a daily ad.
 
 * You don’t have to pay an assistant an hourly wage to spend time posting  every day.
 
 * You increase the traffic back to your property listing page.
 
 * One study (in the St Louis market) has shown  that each visitor arriving to a real estate agent’s landing page would, on average, visit at least 2 other pages on the real estate website. This is great for showcasing your other properties for sale!
 
 * The study also showed (and I personally believe the results as I’ve seen similar things happen over the years) that they got a higher click-through to their agent’s landing page with no pictures, just a plain text ad with a couple of bullet points (some description) but not every single detail on the property.
     
      Their theory was, and again I’ve seen similar results over time with my own ads, that if there’s a ton of detail and pictures on the ad, home shoppers will self-select out and just go on to the next ad without clicking through to the website or requesting more info. But if there’s a little bit of attractive and appealing (teaser) info, they’re more likely to click through looking for more. And then they get the chance to look at more of your offerings. Of course, that’s a win-win for both you and the prospect.
 
 * Regardless of what happens in St Louis, or Montana or anywhere else for that matter, obviously each market is going to be unique. But it remains a fact that the majority (greater than 90% according to the NAR) of home shoppers start their home search on the internet.
 
 * My own personal rental ad on craigslist posted on a Thursday at just after midnight, sent 41 visitors to my property rental page in the first 33 hours from 161 views of my ad. And during that timeframe I had four phone calls and one email on the rental.
       
 * Craigslist is ranked I believe 7 or 8 for United States website traffic. What does that mean to you? That means that there are only 6 or 7 other sites that get more visitors from traffic in the U.S. One article I just read said that they get 50 million unique U.S. visitors each month.

 
So, add it all up – what does all this mean to you? Perhaps nothing.
